What we collect, and what we do with it.

Who is responsible

LONAJ GROUP is the responsible party for the personal information described in this notice. Our address is 526 Verkenner Avenue, Die Wilgers, Pretoria, Gauteng.

Our Information Officer is Oreneile Matlala, who can be reached at lonajgrp@gmail.com or on +27 68 216 2325. Any question about your personal information, or any complaint about how we have handled it, reaches that person directly.

You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa, whose details are published at inforegulator.org.za.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry, request a quote, book a clean or apply for a job, we collect the details you type into that form — typically your name, email address, phone number, the area you are in, and whatever you tell us about the work.

If you apply for a position and choose to attach a CV, that file is sent to us as an email attachment and kept in our mailbox. It is not stored on this website or in any database. Attaching a CV is optional.

We do not collect ID numbers, banking details or payment card details through this website, and we never will.

Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, arrange a booking, or assess a job application. That is the only reason.

If you opt in to our mailing list, we will also use your email address to send you occasional service and pricing updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

Nobody. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Your data is stored with our infrastructure providers — Supabase (database and file storage) and Resend (email delivery) — who process it on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for anything else.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and quotations are kept for up to three years, so we can honour previous pricing and maintain business records.

Job applications are kept for twelve months so we can consider you for future openings, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted.

To exercise any of these rights, email lonajgrp@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. There is no charge.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Security

Form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and stored in a database that is not publicly readable. Uploaded CVs are held in private storage and are only accessible to authorised staff through short-lived, signed links.
